Warren Zevon passed away yesterday, after battling lung cancer and living longer than the time the doctors had given him. He just released his final album, "The Wind". Of course, he will always be best known for "Werewolves of London", which was a song I loved as a kid.

werewolves is a good song but nothing beats 'lawyers, guns and money'
Zevon let VH1 film a making-of documentary for that last album. Based on the excerpts they played on that, it should be an excellant valedictory album...

I admit I did shed some tears through the rendition of Knockin' On Heaven's Door and on the final cut "Keep Me In Your Heart For Awhile" ... WZ was a one of a kind storyteller and there will be a big gap in my life for a very long time. Rest in Peace my friend.
