called "Horatio's Drive". It's essentially about the first road trip, and the voice of Horatio is done by Tom Hanks, who has a wonderful voice for such things. Unfortunately, WQED doesn't have any listings for it again for at least a week, so you'll have to wait if you missed it.
In the spring of 1903, on a whim and a fifty-dollar bet, Dr. Horatio Nelson Jackson set off from San Francisco in a 20-horsepower Winton touring car hoping to become the first person to cross the United States in the new-fangled "horseless carriage."
I was partly interested in it because just last week my great gram was telling me about how her family had a Model T when she was young and how she would help crank-start it. Also, watching a documentary makes me feel less guilty about watching shows like "Charmed" :P
