It's official. I just purchased a one way plane ticket to San Jose for Feb 29. I have a position at Macrovision. (Yes, that evil company :P)

Please mention to them that all decent and respectable unix system administrators hate FlexLM.

Thanks

Okay then, just so we're all clear. :-) I've hated FlexLM and lmgrd for as long as I have had to deal with it. I sure hope Kim is working with anything else at Macrowhoosits. :-)

That's OK, I always strip macrovision data before playing something. ;)

Also, I know someone who used to work for Muzak. Yes, *that* muzak.

I'm about two hours north of ya, but I get down in that area occasionally and I'll buy ya a beer when you get out here!

San Jose is a cool place. I was out there about a year ago for a conference. Its also the headquarters for Adobe (those Acroabat and Photoshop guys) as well as Fry's Electronics!
Congrats on the job. Let us know how they do the Macrovison so we can bypass it! :-)
