Day #3 and I think my body is still on Eastern time. I keep falling asleep really early and waking up really early.

fascinating!. You move across the country, living away from home for the first time excluding college, and that's the best you can do for posting? Entertain me woman. pronto. chop chop.

For the record, I lived just as far away from home in college as I did in West Mifflin :P

And I haven't had the *time* to post! I'm fixing Nagios right now. The plan last night was to compete in Gran Turismo3 but I crashed out on the couch because I suck.

Let's see... we drove over to Berkeley the other night, also had dinner at a ghetto Mexican place that had excellent food. We might go to the Winchester House this weekend.

Also, I <3 Fry's :)

Much better. Do they make you wear jackboots to work?

Posted by: doug at March 3, 2004 03:38 PM

wtf are jackboots?

Posted by: kim at March 3, 2004 03:42 PM

Boots that come to the knee or above... worn from the 1700s on, but most known as a part of Nazi germany war apparel...

*Jason salutes.

oh... i see... a reference to my employer being evil :)
funny :)

As fun as it would be to see Kim in the jackboots, she's just one of the hapless scientists in this twisted metaphor. You know, like the guys on the Manhattan Project. The jack-booted thugs are the guys from the RIAA.

Good or Evil is moot when one is making good money to do something enjoyable, am I right? :-D

Its a good fit, Kim has always been evil. :)

Bill, I agree with your analogy but I would liken Kim's position to being more like a member of the hitler youth. Did they give you a cool little survival knife on your first day Kim? They may have called it a leatherman, but we all know the truth!

ok, i have to admit it... i carry my mini leatherman on the same keychain as my keyfob and usb key.

Istvaan should have given you goose step lessons...
