New job!

I turned in my official resignation to Macrovision today. This was the job that I moved to California for. My last day is Friday... then I start my new job on Monday :) I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

Ah ha! So you love the product so much that you decided to work for them now?

I guess you won't go on buisness travel all over the globe, unlike your last job?

Will you have to move, or does the "new employer" have offices in San Jose?

Interestingly, there is travel, just not to cool places. Their offices are in Alviso, which is only 10 minutes away.

And no, sadly, I don't get a discount on my TiVo service. Unless I do an employee beta or something.

Hm. Purely by coincidence, I finally decided to get a TiVo a few days back. It arrived today. I went to activate it, and the TiVo Web site has a big "Down for Maintenance" sign on it.

Darn it, Kim, what'd you break?
