I once again fixed my iTunes so it uploads what's playing. Now you can all see how lame I am when I listen to Neil Diamond :)

I have acquired a new webcam :) I was previously using some PoS that came with my Verison DSL way back in the day. (Because my old Logitech Quickcam broke.) And now I have another new Quickcam. I really like the flat screen mount. I'll play with it more tomorrow.

Eli is S-M-R-T and discovered that I am using summary mode, and there is no content tag, just description. Now I just have to figure out the appropriate tags to fix the problem. It works now.

Joelle of BlogMoxie made me another skin... a martini theme this time. If you choose it from the dropdown menu, it will stick as your default skin next time you visit. She actually made two, because there will be a Christmas skin, but I haven't made it available yet.

OMG i fixed the comment cookie problem. I think. The HOST='starjewel.org' in my comments template was commented out. I don't know why, but uncommenting it appears to have fixed it.

Joelle made me a Serial Experiments Lain skin, because she rocks :) If you liked the dragon one better, you can still choose it from the top right menu. Sometime in the future there will be even more choices :)

Well crap. MT-Blacklist is not allowing anyone to post, because it pukes on every comment. I wonder if one of the regex's got added malformed or something. I'll poke at it later. In the mean time, if want to comment on something, you can always email starjewelATgmailDOTcom.

Update: That's exactly what it is. It was a bad URL that prevented all comments. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the spammers are trying to break MT-Blacklist. Regardless, commenting should work again.

Gah. I upgraded my iTunes plugin and the XML format is now different, which breaks my PHP parsing code. Ignore the crap under Now Playing until I fix it.

I'm going back to using Blogamp for my weblog playlist instead of the DoSomething plugin that pings MT. Blogamp had quit working for me quite some time ago and I gave up on trying to fix it. The Dosomething plugin worked pretty nicely, but my MT has an issue with removing pings, both manually and with a script, and it's just getting out of hand. So bear with me while I reformat the Blogamp output.

I'm upgrading my Movable Type because I can't figure out how to fix the comment cookie problem. Everything says that it is in fact, setting a cookie. But people are complaining, myself included, that it is not.

So if for some reason, the site is broken later, try back later.

I just installed the *new* Netflix MT plugin. I'm having some formatting issues, but other than that, it's pretty spiffy.
